What is Mentium?

Mentium is a trivia and knowledge-battle game developed by King Island Studio. It blends hand-written questions with AI-powered modes, real-time online duels and a deep progression system.

• Platform: Android (minimum Android 8.0 / API 26).
• Languages: 10 (Spanish, English, French, Romanian, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Italian, Turkish, Polish, Dutch).
• Categories: 40+ (science, sports, geography, cinema, history, mythology, philosophy, crypto, football, F1, anime, art, medicine, etc.).
• Model: free-to-play with optional purchases that are never required to progress.

Levels and experience (XP)

Every correct answer awards XP. Levelling up unlocks new categories and difficulties. Your level shows on your profile and next to your name in online duels.

Lives

• You start with 5 lives, recoverable for free (FREE_LIVES_MAX = 5).
• You can stack up to 10 lives via ads, chests or rewards (MAX_LIVES = 10).
• Each life regenerates every 30 minutes.
• Lives are spent when starting most advanced modes.

Coins and Mentis

Coins are the soft currency: earned by playing, watching ads, opening chests, completing missions or swapping Mentis. Used to enter modes and buy lifelines and cosmetics.

Mentis are the hard currency (gems): earned via missions, chests, the wheel, daily ads and in-app purchases. Used for premium upgrades: remove ads, double XP, streak shield, instant chest opening, buying lifelines and unlocking special cosmetics.

Day streak (🔥)

Counter of consecutive days played. Milestones at 3, 7, 14 and 30 days with special bonuses. A Streak Shield protects one missed day (15 for 7 days).

Lifelines

• 50/50 : removes two wrong answers. Inventory of 3 at the start; refills as you play and can be purchased (5 if you hit 0).
• Phone call : Mentium calls an "expert" who advises you. Inventory of 3 at the start; can be purchased (2 if you hit 0).

Player tag (#XXXXXXXX)

Unique 8-digit identifier assigned when you create your account. Permanent and globally unique. Used to add friends.
