🎯 Classic

Hand-written, hand-curated questions per category. The backbone of the game.

Difficulty progression: each tier unlocks by hitting a minimum score in the previous one (50% for EASY, 60% MEDIUM, 70% HARD, 80% EXPERT, 90% LEGEND). BEGINNER is always available.

Life bonus: from MEDIUM up, ≥80% accuracy can award +1/+2/+3 lives depending on difficulty.

🤖 AI Category

AI-generated questions about any topic you type or about the recommended categories.

• Personalized via your topic mastery (1–5 stars) and topic streaks (multiplier up to x2 if you play 7+ consecutive days in the same category).
• Final question = "challenge": nail it for +5 extra.
• Personalized intro narrative (greets you, references previous matches).

🎤 AI Debate

Defend a stance backed by support questions. The AI plays the opponent with its own edge.

• 1 lifeline: counter-argument hint per question.
• Personalized closing summary at the end.

⚡ Lightning Mode

15 questions, 10 seconds per question, on any topic.

• Cost: 1 (v2 rebalance — used to also cost 3 ).
• lifeline: +5 extra seconds (1 per question).
• Reward: scaled by final score (thresholds at 60/100/140/180 pts).
• Bonus for speed and consecutive correct answers.

🌍 Traveler Mode

Tour the world answering 8 questions per destination.

• Life cost: 1 per session (any route).
• Lifelines: Interpreter (1 , hint per question) and Emergency Visa (2 , skips a question as correct, once per match).
• Bonus: +20 pts per perfect destination.
• Passport: tracks visited countries; partially resets at 150.

🕵️ Detective Mode

Solve mysteries with 5 suspects, 6 clues and a free-form interrogation.

• Cost: 1 (in 2.0 "Einstein").
• Extra clue: 1 .
• Free-form interrogation: up to 5 AI questions, 10 each. View +5 via ad (3 ads/day) or buy +5 for 5 (up to 50/day).
• Confront a clue: 20 . Suspect face-off: 30 .
• Accuse with confidence: Suspect (x1) · Convinced (x2) · Certain (x3) on the reward.
• Contradiction bonus: +30 per detected contradiction from the culprit.
• Ranks: Rookie → Apprentice → Experienced → Veteran → Elite (based on cases solved).

🔗 Nexus Mode

Endless chain of connected questions; one wrong answer ends the run.

• Cost: 1 (in 2.0 "Einstein").
• 3 lives within the mode (not your global lives).
• Rewards: scaled by chain length ≥5/10/15/20/30 (Curie-era thresholds: 5/12/22/35/60).
• Personalization: starts in your strongest topic and drifts toward your weak spots.

🎓 Smart Review

Appears when you accumulate ≥3 weak sub-topics from playing AI Category.

• Cost: free (no resources spent!).
• 5 questions targeted at your weak spots.
• Each correct answer reduces or removes that sub-topic from your weakness list.

👥 Local Duel

Two players on the same device, 8 questions, 15 seconds.

• Cost: 1 (in 2.0 "Einstein"; the life is never refunded).
• Speed bonus: <3s = +10 pts; <6s = +5 pts; <10s = +2 pts.
• Ties are broken by speed points.

🌐 Online Duel (Classic or AI)

Real-time duel against another player.

• Cost: 1 to enter (refunded on win).
• Types: Classic (curated questions) or AI (generated questions).
• Rewards: win = +300 + 1 ; tie = +100 (v2 scale).
• Cross-language confirmation: if the opponent is on a different language you'll be asked to confirm.
• Reactions: emojis during and after the duel.
• Rematch: both sides must accept within 60 s.

🪧 Plaza Mentium (new in 2.0)

Turn-based async matches: you create the match, pick opponents (friends or club members) and each player answers when they can.

• Cost: 1 on match creation.
• Supports 2v2 teams with teammate selection.
• Automatic push when it's your turn.
• Full replay of the match when it ends, available anytime.
• Plaza-specific leaderboard separate from real-time Online.

📅 Daily systems

• Daily Challenge: 20 questions identical for everyone, one attempt per day (see the social wiki).
• Smart Review: 10 AI questions on your weak sub-topics. Free (no life, no coins spent).
