What you get to play

Three missions: two main ones and a side one. This is not a five-minute taster — you see the game's whole cycle, restoration and management, start to finish, with limits.

You arrive at a corner shop that has been shut for years, with a bunker underneath it you know nothing about yet, and you bring it back.

Clear it out

  • Collect the rubbish and haul it to the skip
  • Throw out the furniture that is past saving
  • Cut and shred furniture to get rid of it

Restore the place

  • Paint walls and cover graffiti
  • Repair the ceiling and the floor
  • Mop the puddles off the floor
  • Clean the windows

Get the power back

  • Repair wiring and pipes
  • Restore the electrical system
  • Fuel the generator
  • Install the lights

Open the business

  • Place orders over the radio
  • Put stock on the shelves
  • Play around with build mode

And at the end, the part that gives all of it a point: you serve Isaac and Vera at the till — two of the customers who will walk back through that door many times over the course of the game.
