What you get to play
Three missions: two main ones and a side one. This is not a five-minute taster — you see the game's whole cycle, restoration and management, start to finish, with limits.
You arrive at a corner shop that has been shut for years, with a bunker underneath it you know nothing about yet, and you bring it back.
Clear it out
- Collect the rubbish and haul it to the skip
- Throw out the furniture that is past saving
- Cut and shred furniture to get rid of it
Restore the place
- Paint walls and cover graffiti
- Repair the ceiling and the floor
- Mop the puddles off the floor
- Clean the windows
Get the power back
- Repair wiring and pipes
- Restore the electrical system
- Fuel the generator
- Install the lights
Open the business
- Place orders over the radio
- Put stock on the shelves
- Play around with build mode
And at the end, the part that gives all of it a point: you serve Isaac and Vera at the till — two of the customers who will walk back through that door many times over the course of the game.
